The Organizing Committee of the II BRICS Forum “Traditional Values” has confirmed a major partnership with the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance (WBA), including its UAE Chapter. The announcement marks a key step forward in advancing the role of Emirati women leaders and entrepreneurs within the BRICS+ economic landscape.

The WBA and its UAE Chapter aim to support Emirati women in accessing new opportunities across BRICS+ markets, aligning with the UAE’s vision of becoming a global hub for inclusive and international trade. This partnership comes as part of ongoing efforts to increase women’s participation in global governance and sustainable economic growth.

The WBA’s involvement follows a formal invitation extended by Fausto Pinato, President of the BRICS Parliamentary Front (Brazil), to Monica Monteiro, Chair of the Brazilian Chapter of the Alliance. As an official partner, the WBA will co-host a high-level roundtable session at the Forum, focusing on women’s leadership in corporate governance, international trade, sustainable investment, and economic development. The UAE Chapter is expected to play a central role in presenting insights aligned with the country’s national strategy for gender-inclusive progress.

In addition to leading discussions on business and policy, the Alliance will have its logo featured across all official materials related to the Forum, and its representatives will take part in the wider business programme. Monica Monteiro is set to lead the roundtable that will bring together key voices from across the BRICS nations to explore ways to strengthen female leadership in international markets.

Commenting on the collaboration, Monica Monteiro said: “We are honored to be part of the II BRICS Forum ‘Traditional Values’. Women’s active participation in economic and social development is vital to building harmonious societies, strengthening international cooperation, and fostering sustainable growth. We believe this partnership will open new avenues for collaboration and pave the way for impactful joint projects within the BRICS community.”

Boris Tarasov, Founder & CEO of the BRICS Forum “Traditional Values,” added: “Welcoming the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance as a partner marks a key milestone for the Forum. Their engagement brings valuable insight to the business agenda while amplifying essential social discussions around the role of women in economic development and humanitarian efforts. The professionalism and diversity of the WBA will greatly enrich our dialogue and drive collaborative initiatives rooted in traditional values and sustainable progress.”

The II BRICS Forum “Traditional Values” is scheduled to take place from 15 to 17 September 2025 at the National Congress of the Republic in Brasília. The event will bring together policymakers, entrepreneurs, cultural figures, and public personalities from BRICS nations and their partners. This year’s theme, “Uniting Traditions, Strengthening Nations,” follows the inaugural edition held in Moscow in 2024 and will focus on key areas such as education, artificial intelligence, creative industries, healthcare, innovation, sustainability, and cultural exchange.
