Cadence, a renowned, women-owned travel company, is celebrating an incredible achievement this year—its 30th anniversary. What began with a clear vision has transformed into a leading force in the luxury travel industry. The company offers a range of services, including corporate travel, meetings and incentive programs, and acts as a host agency to a distinguished network of over 180 independent luxury travel advisors.

Throughout its three decades of operation, Cadence has consistently stayed ahead of industry trends, building strong relationships, providing advanced tools to support teams, and fostering a culture that encourages collaboration and success. Wendy Burk, the founder and CEO, reflects on this journey with pride, stating, “We lead with care, are grounded in trust, and strengthened by resources. Together, we’ve nurtured a community where success flourishes and everyone rises.”

This year also marks another significant milestone for Cadence—its 25th anniversary of partnering with Virtuoso, further solidifying its reputation as a leader in luxury travel. The company’s achievements have not gone unnoticed, with several prestigious recognitions, including a second consecutive year on the Travel Weekly Power List and being named one of San Diego’s “Best Places to Work” for the seventh year in a row.

To commemorate its anniversary, Cadence will host its signature annual event, Cadence Connects, at the iconic Hotel del Coronado. The event, set to take place from May 7-10, 2025, will be extra special as it marks the 10th anniversary of the gathering. It will also be the first large-scale event at the hotel since its $550 million restoration. Over three days, more than 100 travel providers will connect with Cadence’s top advisors, strengthening the community and contributing to shared success.

Robert Marusi, Commercial Director at Hotel del Coronado, shared his excitement about the partnership: “Hotel del Coronado is incredibly proud to partner with Cadence in celebrating this momentous milestone. As a national historic landmark, we’ve always been a place where people gather to create lasting memories, and it’s especially inspiring to host a company that empowers women and shares our passion for travel and hospitality. We raise a toast to Cadence’s continued success and look forward to hosting a dazzling event in celebration.”

As Cadence celebrates its 30th year in business, it reflects on its remarkable journey and the achievements that have defined its success. The company’s growth, commitment to its community, and focus on empowering women make it a true leader in the luxury travel sector.
