Global professional services firm Cognizant has selected Oracle Fusion Cloud Recruiting to modernise its talent acquisition operations. The technology service provider, which is a long-term partner of Oracle, intends to integrate embedded artificial intelligence to boost hiring efficiency and manage recruitment processes across its international network.

Operating in more than 60 countries, Cognizant functions as an AI Builder and technology services firm. The business supports corporate clients with technical modernisation and operational strategy. To manage its changing staffing requirements and support future growth plans for its workforce of over 350,000 employees, the company required a highly scalable recruitment framework. Following a review process, Cognizant chose the Oracle platform due to its built-in artificial intelligence features, system flexibility and capacity to handle both international standards and location-specific recruitment rules.

“The candidate experience is often the first interaction people have with our organization, and we needed a recruiting platform that could deliver a more seamless and engaging experience while giving us the flexibility to build AI capabilities that align with our business objectives. Oracle stood out for its ability to deliver all of this within a unified platform,” said Roshan Subudhi, senior vice president, Enterprise Platform Services, Cognizant.

By deploying the system alongside Oracle Recruiting Booster, Cognizant will use automation and data intelligence to simplify traditional hiring workflows and create more tailored recruitment pathways. The firm also intends to adopt Oracle AI Agent Studio. This specialised development platform allows enterprises to build, link and manage custom artificial intelligence agents that fit specific corporate workflows. The technology combination aims to improve how the firm engages with applicants, expands its available talent pools and facilitates internal career mobility.

“Organizations with a vast footprint like Cognizant need AI-powered solutions that can scale globally and help them build a future workforce,” said Nagaraj Nadendla, senior vice president, HCM product development, Oracle. “With Oracle Recruiting, Cognizant can take advantage of a unified recruiting platform with embedded AI to improve hiring efficiency, enhance candidate engagement, and support its long-term growth.”
