Women’s wellness brand Nua has raised US$50 million in a Series C funding round led by Peak XV Partners and Filter Capital, as the company looks to expand its product portfolio, distribution and presence across the women’s wellness market.

The round also includes participation from existing investors Mirabilis Investment Trust and Footpath Ventures. The transaction comprises both primary capital and secondary share sales, with Kae Capital, Lightbox VC and some existing angel investors taking partial exits.

Founded in 2017, Nua began with period care and has since expanded into maternity care, skincare and everyday intimate care. The Mumbai-based company also operates digital services including the Nua Period Tracker App and SecretKeeper chat, extending its relationship with consumers beyond its physical products.

Nua said the new funding will be used for brand building, expanding its reach and distribution, and strengthening research and development. The company plans to continue expanding its product pipeline as it builds a broader women’s wellness platform.

According to the company, Nua now serves more than three million women and girls every month across its different categories. Its annualised revenue run rate has increased from ₹100 crore to ₹500 crore over the past 24 months, while the business has remained profitable.

The latest investment comes as Nua moves beyond its original focus on menstrual care and seeks to address a wider range of everyday wellness needs for women. Its expansion into maternity, intimate care, skincare and digital health services reflects the company’s broader approach to women’s wellness.

Sakshi Chopra, Managing Director at Peak XV, said women’s wellness in India remains a large and evolving opportunity, adding that Nua has demonstrated an ability to build a consumer brand with a strong connection to its customers.

For Nua, the Series C funding provides capital to accelerate its next stage of growth while continuing to develop products and services aimed at the changing needs of women and girls.
