Entreprenelle, a leading social enterprise focused on community development across the Middle East and North Africa, has launched the second mini edition of “SHE CAN – Tech & AI Edition” in partnership with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA). The event was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the National Council for Women, and the National Council for Persons with Disabilities, and took place at the Creativa Innovation Hub in the Sultan Hussein Kamel Palace in Heliopolis. Support came from several major partners, including Kuwait Finance House – Egypt (KFH-Egypt), Capgemini Egypt, and Bless.

This edition attracted more than 1,000 attendees and featured 45 speakers, with a strong focus on empowering women entrepreneurs, investors, leaders, and changemakers. The programme centred on technology, artificial intelligence, career development, and employment, drawing participants at various stages of their entrepreneurial journeys, along with executives, Generation Z job seekers, and freelancers.

Workshops and sessions examined how AI and digital tools can be integrated into business operations and professional development. Discussions covered the use of AI in digital marketing and e-commerce, organising innovative ideas, and managing financial resources more effectively. The event also explored AI’s applications in education and entrepreneurship, offering practical insights for women seeking to advance their careers or launch new ventures.

Rania Ayman, Founder and CEO of Entreprenelle, said the mini edition reflects the organisation’s continued commitment to supporting women across the region. She stated: “The mini edition of SHE CAN – Tech & AI confirms our ongoing commitment to empowering women across the Middle East and North Africa and enhancing their presence in the rapidly growing technology sector. According to ITIDA data, the technology sector in Egypt provides more than 300,000 job opportunities, with women occupying over 30% of them, and plans are in place to increase this number to 500,000 by 2026, reflecting the promising opportunities available for women entrepreneurs to enter the tech workforce. We believe that providing practical platforms to support women in technology is not merely an option, but a strategic necessity to promote entrepreneurship, empower talent, and achieve sustainable economic and social impact.

The event was hosted at the Creativa Innovation Hub with backing from KFH-Egypt, Capgemini Egypt, and Bless, alongside wider support from several regional partners and sponsors. Organisers said SHE CAN continues to operate as a platform for knowledge-sharing among entrepreneurs, investors, and experts in technology, business, and entrepreneurship. It also provides valuable networking opportunities designed to advance women’s professional growth and stimulate innovation across the region.
