ROBOZE, a specialist in advanced production technology, has announced the launch of the ARGO 500 HYPERSPEED MISSION READY (MR). The new industrial additive manufacturing platform is designed to produce high-performance polymer and composite parts for the aerospace and defence sectors. Based in El Segundo, California, the company stated that the system focuses on reliability and repeatable production for mission-critical applications. The platform aims to provide a strategic advantage to organisations facing supply-chain disruptions by enabling on-demand manufacturing of complex components.

The system is engineered to work with advanced materials that are increasingly replacing traditionally machined metal parts to reduce weight. These include SABIC’s ULTEM AM9085F resin, which is used for cabin interiors, and Carbon PEEK for use in corrosive environments. A significant technical feature of the new platform is its integrated material conditioning architecture. This system manages moisture levels during the build process, which is essential for maintaining the mechanical integrity of advanced polymers.

Alessio Lorusso, founder & CEO of ROBOZE, said: “In today’s geopolitical and industrial landscape, technological sovereignty and supply-chain resilience are mission-critical capabilities. ARGO 500 HYPERSPEED MISSION READY enables aerospace and defense organizations to produce advanced components on demand, strengthening operational readiness while reducing dependence on traditional, fragile supply chains.”

The platform utilises a programmable logic control architecture and is built to deliver thermal stability and mechanical precision. Potential applications for the produced parts include aerospace ducting and structural components for naval vessels. By allowing for the production of lightweight parts that meet stringent industry standards, the technology helps organisations move toward greater manufacturing independence.

Scott Sevcik, executive vice president of aerospace & defense at ROBOZE, added: “As an industry, aerospace and defense constantly pushes the boundaries of innovation. But delivering value to the operator in the field requires meeting the highest standards and performing under extreme conditions. ARGO 500 HYPERSPEED MISSION READY was engineered to deliver the repeatability, material control, and reliability required to meet the stringent qualification requirements and perform at the highest levels.”
