Google Cloud is sponsoring its dynamic monthly event series aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs in the UAE. This initiative, hosted at Google Cloud’s Dubai office, highlights Google Cloud’s dedication to fostering opportunities in the tech sector and nurturing a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region.
The DFF series offers a unique platform for aspiring and established female entrepreneurs to connect, learn, and grow. Each month, the series will feature themes that bring together interactive workshops, expert-led sessions, and founder stories, all designed to equip women with the essential skills needed for success in today’s competitive landscape.
The inaugural event, taking place on February 12th, will focus on ‘Founder Stories.’ Saba Yussouf, General Partner of Nettle Ventures, will share insights from her entrepreneurial journey. Having sold her first company at the age of 24 for £2 million, Saba now leads a $60 million biotech firm and will discuss investor readiness and how founders can better prepare for funding.
Additionally, Marisa Peer, celebrity therapist and best-selling author of “I Am Enough,” will deliver a powerful session on overcoming limiting beliefs, building self-confidence, and achieving entrepreneurial success. Known for her work with global leaders, athletes, and high-profile clients, Marisa will provide invaluable insights for female founders.
The series will also feature key speakers such as Nacho Floristan, Director of Generative AI Solutions Architecture at Google Cloud, along with successful women entrepreneurs sharing their stories. Recognizing the importance of mental well-being for entrepreneurs, the series will include Dr. Louise Lambert, PhD, an expert in positive psychology, who will explore how to apply positive psychology to build social capital and lead a joyful, balanced life.
