Women Business Collaborative (WBC) has called on entrepreneurs, investors, corporate leaders and business changemakers to register for the 2026 Women’s Capital Summit, taking place on 6 and 7 October in New York City.
The two-day event will bring together women entrepreneurs and the investors, executives and business leaders supporting their growth, with a focus on improving access to capital and creating stronger connections across the financing ecosystem.
This year’s summit will examine how financing for women-led businesses is changing and where new opportunities are emerging. The programme will cover a broad range of areas, including women’s sports, women’s health, artificial intelligence, private equity, debt, mergers and acquisitions and alternative financing models.
Women’s sports will be a major focus, with discussions exploring the growing commercial and investment opportunities around women athletes, teams, leagues and businesses connected to the sector.
The summit will also examine the expanding women’s health economy. Leaders from Systole Health, Incora Health, Cubismi and Osteoboost are expected to discuss the challenges surrounding research, funding and access to capital, as well as opportunities to improve health outcomes for women across their lives.
Another session, titled “From Influence to Ownership”, will look at how women can turn influence into ownership, wealth and greater economic power. The panel will include Kendra Bracken-Ferguson, Co-Founder of LumiNicole Beauty, Syama Bunten, Principal of Big Delta Capital, Alison Hoffer, Founder of The Eighteen Percent Fund, and Coco Sellman, Founder and CEO of A Force for Good.
The summit will also look beyond traditional venture capital. Sessions will explore angel investment, private equity, debt, family offices, strategic capital and other alternative funding models, giving founders a broader view of the options available as they build and scale their companies.
A Capital Matchmaking programme and the Women’s Capital Marketplace will form part of the event, creating opportunities for founders and funders to connect directly. The organisers say the aim is to help entrepreneurs identify the right capital and build relationships that can support their businesses over the long term.
The event will feature founders, investors, CEOs and business leaders from finance, entrepreneurship, technology, healthcare, sport and corporate leadership. Actress and entrepreneur Sophia Bush is also among the featured participants.
