Rhode, the beauty brand founded by Hailey Bieber, has announced a US$5 million grant and partnership with the Foundation for Women’s Health to support research and innovation in women’s healthcare.

The commitment, announced on 2 November 2026, will be delivered over three years through the Rhode Futures Fund. It represents the brand’s largest philanthropic commitment to date.

The funding will support medical research and initiatives addressing longstanding gaps in women’s healthcare. Research priorities include pregnancy and postpartum health, autoimmune conditions and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), areas where further scientific investigation and investment are needed.

Of the total commitment, US$1 million will establish the Foundation for Women’s Health Evergreen Fund. The fund will operate through a venture philanthropy model, reinvesting capital over time to provide ongoing support for women’s health initiatives.

The Evergreen Fund will also support companies developing therapeutics and diagnostic solutions in areas including maternal and adolescent health.

The Foundation for Women’s Health is a non-profit organisation focused on identifying underfunded areas of medical research across the female life cycle and supporting research intended to improve women’s health outcomes.

The partnership forms part of Rhode’s wider philanthropic initiatives. The brand operates under e.l.f. Beauty, which has committed to directing a portion of its profits towards charitable causes.

The announcement comes amid growing attention to the funding gap in women’s health research, with several areas of female-specific healthcare historically receiving limited research investment.

Through the partnership, Rhode aims to support medical research and initiatives that address these gaps and contribute to better healthcare outcomes for women.
