Nigerian singer and songwriter Simi has officially ventured into the fashion space with the launch of a new children’s clothing brand, ‘The Big Little Company’.

The award-winning artist revealed that the birth of her daughter, Adejare ‘Deja’ Kosoko, sparked the idea behind this new endeavor. In a statement released on Sunday, she shared how becoming a mother inspired her to create a clothing line that celebrates childhood through comfort and style.

The brand, aimed at children between the ages of one and ten, offers an online-exclusive collection that features a range of minimalist yet distinctive designs. Dresses, jumpsuits, and overalls form the core of the collection, which has been thoughtfully created to be versatile and inclusive for both girls and boys.

“Designed to be comfortable and stylish the collection boasts minimalist, but refreshingly unique designs. The styles are also very multifunctional. The collection includes dresses, jumpsuits and overalls – and is suitable for both girls and boys,” Simi said in her statement.

Manufactured in Lagos, the pieces carry a blend of timeless patterns and playful silhouettes, with a strong emphasis on quality and detail.

“They are available, exclusively, online at www.biglittlecompany.com,” she added.

Expressing her hopes for the new venture, Simi concluded, “The Big Little Company will bring joy and happiness to children all around the world.”
