Lxme, a women-focused financial platform founded by Priti Rathi Gupta, has partnered with Capri Sports to become the title sponsor of the Indian Women’s League (IWL) in a multi-year agreement.

The partnership marks an expansion of Lxme’s efforts to support women beyond financial services, connecting its focus on financial independence with the development of women’s sport.

Founded by Gupta, Lxme provides financial services and investment solutions tailored to women. The platform aims to encourage women to take a more active role in managing their finances and making investment decisions.

Through its association with the Indian Women’s League, the company is backing a national football competition dedicated to women players. The partnership also brings a commercial brand into the women’s football ecosystem as the league continues to develop its visibility and sponsorship opportunities.

Capri Sports, which has interests across sports ownership and management, has been involved in efforts to build commercial opportunities in Indian sport. The partnership with Lxme adds a women-focused financial brand to the league’s sponsorship portfolio.

For Gupta, the agreement connects two areas in which women continue to seek greater opportunities: financial participation and professional sport. The partnership reflects Lxme’s wider positioning around women’s empowerment and economic independence.

The Indian Women’s League is a key competition in the country’s women’s football structure, providing a platform for clubs and players to compete at national level. Commercial partnerships can help support the league’s development, strengthen its reach and create greater visibility for women athletes.
