EPI selects 15 producers for fifth SERIES’ WOMEN leadership cohort

Participants hail from ten countries and reflect a wide range of professional experience and creative backgrounds.

The Erich Pommer Institute (EPI) has announced the 15 producers chosen to take part in the fifth edition of SERIES’ WOMEN, a year-long European programme dedicated to supporting female leadership in the international drama series industry.

Participants hail from ten countries and reflect a wide range of professional experience and creative backgrounds. They include Annie Barclay (Feline Films Ltd., Ireland), Lieselot Belon (le bon film, Belgium), Golda Sophia Bonhoeffer (Ōkami Vision, Germany), Suzan de Swaan (Smarthouse, The Netherlands), Joana Domingues (Caracol Studios, Portugal), Sophya Kallista Frohberg (Letterbox Filmproduktion, Germany), Elina Gedina-Ducena (Mistrus Media, Latvia), Liisa Karpo (Napafilms, Finland), Olivia Kpalété (Studio Zentral, Germany), Franziska Lindner (Saxonia Media, Germany), Tamara Milosevic (Recycled TV AG, Switzerland), Anika Naglmüller (Krutart s.r.o., Czech Republic), Gergana Stankova (Menclips Ltd., Bulgaria), Søs Storm Thøstesen (Freelance Producer, Denmark), and Laura van Wulfften Palthe (Millstreet Films, The Netherlands).

The programme includes online and in-person sessions focused on leadership development, business innovation, and industry visibility. Participants will also receive individual mentoring and project support, with opportunities to showcase work at TV Drama Vision in Gothenburg and the Series Mania Forum in Lille.

Developed in partnership with international mentors and sector specialists, SERIES’ WOMEN aims to broaden access to networks and resources for women working in European drama production. The scheme seeks to build confidence and strengthen industry presence for female-led projects.

“With SERIES’ WOMEN, we continue to provide a space where female producers can exchange ideas, gain confidence, and grow as leaders in a demanding industry,” says Gabriela Seidel-Hollaender, Project Manager for International Female Leadership Programmes at EPI. “We are honoured to offer this programme for the fifth time and to contribute to a more inclusive and competitive European drama series sector.”

SERIES’ WOMEN is supported by Creative Europe – MEDIA, with Series Mania Forum as an event partner. Additional collaborators include FOCAL, Vlaams Audiovisueel Fonds (VAF), Fís Éireann / Screen Ireland, EAVE – European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs, EWA – European Women’s Audiovisual Network, Göteborg Film Festival, Women in Film & Television International (WIFTI), and the European Producers Club (EPC).
