Atos strengthens its global cybersecurity presence with the launch of an AI-driven Security Operations Centre in Qatar, offering sovereign, round-the-clock Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services to help organisations stay ahead of evolving cyber threats.

Atos, a global frontrunner in digital transformation and cybersecurity, has officially opened a new Security Operations Centre (SOC) in Qatar, expanding its worldwide network of interconnected SOCs. This advanced centre introduces AI-driven security capabilities combined with expert human oversight, enabling organisations to detect, respond to, and manage emerging cyber threats more effectively.

With cyber threats becoming increasingly sophisticated and relentless, the demand for cutting-edge, AI-enhanced cybersecurity solutions is more urgent than ever. Atos’ new SOC in Qatar is designed to meet this challenge by delivering sovereign, round-the-clock Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services. Utilising leading-edge technology and proprietary platforms, the centre applies artificial intelligence and machine learning to predict threats and provide actionable insights that enhance cyber resilience.

This facility marks a key step in strengthening Qatar’s cybersecurity infrastructure, protecting vital digital assets, and supporting the nation’s ambitions for secure business operations and innovation.

The centre is staffed by a team of highly trained cybersecurity specialists, with plans to double its workforce within six months. These professionals will provide continuous monitoring and swift threat response, allowing for early detection, automated containment, and rapid mitigation of cyber incidents. The Qatar team forms part of Atos’ global community of 6,500 cybersecurity experts.
