Ameriprise Financial recently brought together over 750 advisors, staff members, and corporate leaders for its seventh annual Women Advisor Summits held in Orlando, FL and Atlanta, GA. The events, spanning three days each, showcased impactful keynote speakers, shared best practices from top women advisors and Ameriprise executives, and offered breakout sessions aimed at enhancing the client experience and expanding advisors’ practices.

Bill Williams, President and Executive Vice President of the Ameriprise Independent Advisors channel, along with Pat O’Connell, President and Executive Vice President of the Ameriprise Branch and Institutions Advisors channels, co-hosted the events alongside the company’s Women’s Empowerment (WE) Networks.

“Our Women’s Advisor Summits are a celebration of the talent, dedication, and passion our women advisors bring to the work they do on behalf of clients – and our commitment to being a firm of choice for women in the industry,” said Williams. “We’re proud to see the tremendous growth and success of these female-led practices and are honored to partner and support them as they help clients achieve the most important goals in life.”

“The energy, ideas, and connections made at our annual summits leave attendees inspired and invigorated throughout the year,” said Leasha Flammio-Watson, Private Wealth Advisor and President of the Ameriprise Women’s Empowerment Network for its Independent Channel. “It is one of the many ways Ameriprise supports the development and careers of women advisors and empowers us to continually elevate the way in which we serve clients.”

“The women of Ameriprise are a powerhouse,” said O’Connell, “and their accomplishments epitomize the Ameriprise culture of excellence, professional development, and personalized support that differentiates our firm.”

“There’s such a strong sense of camaraderie, respect, and encouragement for women advisors at Ameriprise,” said Alanna Morey, Private Wealth Advisor and President of the Ameriprise Women’s Empowerment Network for its branch channel. “While it’s on full display at our annual summits, it is truly palpable throughout the year – which is one of the many reasons women are proud to affiliate their practices with Ameriprise.”

Ameriprise hosts events and professional development sessions each year as part of the firm’s broader diversity and inclusion strategy to recruit, retain, develop, and engage a diverse workforce.
