Commercial Real Estate Women Charlotte has confirmed a $75,000 gift to the Anne Vulcano Scholarship Fund. This donation was made through the CREW Network Foundation and is intended to endow scholarships for women entering the commercial property industry. The local chapter announced the contribution during a luncheon event on 10 March which featured Cathy Bessant, the CEO of Foundation For The Carolinas, as a special guest.
The scholarship programme managed by the US-based foundation is designed to assist female students in their university education. In 2026, the organisation plans to distribute a total of $300,000. This includes 28 undergraduate scholarships worth $5,000 each and 16 graduate scholarships valued at $10,000 each. Along with financial aid, successful applicants receive a two-year CREW membership, a six-month mentorship with a senior executive and registration for the 2026 CREW Network Convention.

In addition to providing financial support, the Foundation is providing opportunities for women to connect with mentors, develop critical leadership skills, and gain knowledge and training that will open doors in the industry. To date, the foundation has provided $1.8 million through 336 scholarships across 144 universities in the United States and Canada. These funds are maintained through various giving programmes including the Linda Hollemon Scholarship Endowment and corporate donations. Students interested in the 2026 intake have until 1 April to submit their applications.
