Kenneth Cole names Emily Cole as the new women’s Creative Director

Kenneth Cole revealed that Emily Cole has been appointed as the new executive vice president, overseeing women’s creative direction and product strategy for the American brand. In her new expanded role, Cole will drive the expansion of the company’s women’s division and oversee product development for all existing categories within women’s apparel.

The designer will work closely with the strategic partnership team to investigate new categories while maintaining oversight of the design direction and merchandising for the organization based in New York.

Cole will continue to report to Jed Berger, president, for all business-related issues and to Kenneth Cole for product creative matters. Kenneth Cole will continue to oversee the overall creative direction and the purpose-driven mission and vision.

“Kenneth Cole welcomes Emily into this expanded role with great enthusiasm, confident that her leadership and creativity will drive the brand’s women’s division to new heights,” said the company in a statement.

The creative director began their tenure at Kenneth Cole Productions in 2022, taking on various senior management roles such as Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Product Officer.

Cole said, “I am thrilled to be taking on the expanded role of Women’s Creative Director and to continue to help grow the women’s business. The brand has such a rich heritage from both a design and a social impact perspective, and I am excited to help steer it into the future.”
