Women Choice is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the DIFC Innovation Hub aimed at empowering women in the business world. This collaboration is set to create a vibrant ecosystem where female leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs can flourish.

Founded by the esteemed social entrepreneur Nezha Alaoui, Women Choice will host quarterly panel discussions at the DIFC Innovation Hub, delving into groundbreaking topics and encouraging engaging conversations. “This ecosystem partnership with DIFC Innovation Hub represents a significant milestone in our mission to empower women in business,” said Nezha Alaoui, Founder and CEO of Women Choice. “Together, we can create a thriving ecosystem where women can access the resources, mentorship, and opportunities they need to succeed.”

In addition to the panels, Women Choice will invite accomplished female leaders and innovators to participate in events at the DIFC Innovation Hub, fostering a dynamic and inclusive community. Monthly networking events will also be organised, connecting female entrepreneurs with industry leaders and mentors. These gatherings aim to provide valuable insights, encourage collaborations, and create mentorship opportunities.

Despite the progress made in recent years, women leaders still encounter various challenges globally. A report by Catalyst highlights that women hold only 24% of senior management roles around the world. However, in the UAE, significant advancements have been made to support the empowerment of women in leadership positions. The UAE Gender Balance Council has set a goal to rank among the top 25 countries for gender equality by 2025. The World Economic Forum’s Global Gender Gap Report 2023 reveals that the UAE has closed 64% of its overall gender gap, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing women’s roles across different sectors.

“Our collaboration with DIFC Innovation Hub is a testament to the UAE’s commitment to gender equality and the empowerment of women in business,” said Nezha Alaoui. “We look forward to making a lasting impact through our combined efforts.”

This partnership represents a promising step forward in supporting women in business, and both organisations are excited about the positive changes they can bring to the community.
