WIMBIZ to empower young girls in Abuja

The Women in Management, Business, and Public Service (WIMBIZ) is set to empower young school girls through its development program at Community Secondary School Asokoro, Abuja.

Dr. Celestina Eke, a prominent Quantity Surveyor and representative of WIMBIZ said, “Every woman you admire today started exactly where you are right now. What made the difference? Often, it was having someone who believed in them. We are here to equip you with life skills that no textbook can teach you and prepare you for the exciting journey ahead.”

Principal, of Community Secondary School Asokoro, Alhaji Sa’idu Ahmed said, “We are honored that our students are participating in today’s program.”

Since its launch in 2016, this remarkable program has made a significant difference in the lives of over 6,000 girls across Nigeria. This initiative is dedicated to providing young women with the guidance and essential life skills they need for both personal growth and career development.

The program focuses on equipping girls with practical skills, confidence, and knowledge to help them navigate their futures. From workshops to mentorship, participants engage in various activities that promote self-discovery and empowerment.
