Tina Rodriguez has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Zattoo, following six months as interim CEO of the European TV streaming company.
Rodriguez joined Zattoo in January 2026 as Chief Consumer Officer and took on the additional responsibility of interim CEO in April following the departure of Roger Elsener. Before joining Zattoo, she held senior management positions at Liberty Global, Sunrise, UPC Switzerland and Unitymedia.
During her interim tenure, Zattoo advanced its strategy across its consumer, advertising and B2B operations.
The company established an advertising sales partnership with Ströer and launched its FAST channel business with Zeno True Crime. In its B2B business, Joyn Switzerland became a customer for Zattoo Ingest, while Zattoo Orchestrate went live for the first time with Elisa Eesti, an Estonian TV and entertainment provider.
Rodriguez will continue to lead Zattoo’s strategic transformation and growth as the company develops its streaming and TV-as-a-Service businesses.
Zattoo was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in Zurich, with an additional location in Berlin. The company has more than 220 employees from over 40 nations and serves several million monthly users. Its business spans consumer TV streaming in Switzerland, Germany and Austria, as well as TV-as-a-Service solutions for broadcasters, network operators and other providers across Europe.
Daniel Mönch, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Zattoo, said Rodriguez had provided clear strategic direction, advanced the company’s transformation and maintained stability internally and externally during her interim tenure.
Rodriguez said the company had made significant progress over the previous six months while continuing to develop its transformation and innovation strategy.
Her appointment makes the interim leadership arrangement permanent as Zattoo continues to develop its streaming, advertising and TV technology businesses.
