Sanad, a renowned global leader in aerospace engineering and leasing solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a prestigious institution specializing in aviation and aerospace education. This collaboration marks the commencement of the second cohort of the Sanad Future Leaders Program, aimed at cultivating the next generation of national leaders to drive sustainable growth in aviation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations.
The one-year leadership development program will offer immersive and practical sessions at both Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s campus in Florida, US, and in Abu Dhabi. Under this partnership, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide will curate a comprehensive curriculum tailored to the specific needs of Sanad employees.
The program will enroll eight candidates, with a significant representation of female leaders, showcasing their expertise in human resources, engineering, operations, and quality management. Participants will undergo rigorous training covering essential topics such as project management, business communication, strategic development, and financial solutions.
This initiative underscores Sanad’s unwavering commitment to talent development, aligned with the vision of its parent company, Mubadala Investment Company. Building on the success of the inaugural Sanad Future Leaders Program conducted in 2023 in collaboration with a prominent European business school, this partnership aims to enhance the skills and capabilities of Sanad’s workforce in the aviation MRO sector.
Upon completion of the program, participants will gain invaluable industry experiences and exposure to global best practices, further enhancing Sanad’s position as a leader in aviation MRO services. The announcement ceremony for the second cohort was attended by key stakeholders, including representatives from Mubadala and senior executives from Sanad and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
