Fendi has appointed Joanna Dubin as the Global Managing Director of Retail and Wholesale. She will take up this role from the LVMH-owned fashion house on September 2. She will report directly to Fendi CEO Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou.

“I am delighted with Joanna’s promotion, which once again demonstrates the importance of internal mobility and talent development within the LVMH Group,” said Angeloglou. “I am convinced that Joanna’s extensive experience in the fashion business and her deep understanding of the Fendi House will be of great benefit in driving Fendi’s ambitions forward.”

As president of the Italian fashion brand, Dubin, who came up through the company’s ranks, Joanna Dubin claims to have been in charge of the Americas region since the start of 2019. She was senior vice president of merchandising at the LVMH flagship Louis Vuitton before that. Her career has also included stints at the US online store Gilt Group, where she oversaw the company’s operations in Japan, and US labels Coach and Polo Ralph Lauren.
