NorthStandard welcomes fresh leadership in sustainability

Global marine insurer NorthStandard has named Kate Kwiatkowska as its new Head of Sustainability, reinforcing its commitment to integrating sustainable practices across its operations.

Kwiatkowska transitioned to NorthStandard from Fintel plc, where she led ESG and Corporate Marketing efforts. In her new position, she will work closely with members, brokers, employees, and stakeholders to embed sustainability into the company’s overall strategy. Additionally, she will oversee the continuous evaluation of sustainability priorities and introduce metrics and reporting structures to monitor progress effectively.

Bringing a strong academic background to the role, Kwiatkowska holds an MSc in Risk, Disaster, and Environmental Management from the University of Huddersfield. She has also completed the Leading Sustainable Corporations program at the University of Oxford, equipping her with insights into driving sustainability initiatives within corporate frameworks.
