Millennium Hotels and Resorts appoints Cinn Tan as chief commercial officer

Her role involves overseeing branding, sales and digital platforms to improve performance and customer engagement across the international hotel portfolio.

Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR) has confirmed the appointment of Cinn Tan as Chief Commercial Officer. The hotel group announced the move as part of its ongoing brand evolution. Tan enters the role with more than three decades of experience in the global hospitality sector. Her career has spanned several major regions including the United States, China, Europe and the Asia Pacific.

In her capacity as Chief Commercial Officer, Tan is tasked with leading the global commercial strategy for the company. This remit covers a wide range of departments such as branding, marketing, loyalty programmes and sales. She will also manage distribution, revenue management and the company’s digital platforms. The group expects her leadership to advance its brand positioning and increase engagement with its customer base across its various international properties.

“Cinn is a proven global commercial leader with a strong track record of advancing commercial capabilities and delivering sustainable growth. As Millennium Hotels and Resorts continues its brand evolution and strengthens its global position, she will lead our commercial strategy across key markets to enhance brand alignment, improve performance, and drive strategic long-term value for the group,” said Kwek Eik Sheng, Executive Director, Millennium Hotels and Resorts.

The appointment comes at a time when the group is looking to improve performance and create strategic value within its portfolio. Tan has a history of building high-performing teams and strengthening brand equity in her previous roles. MHR stated that it looks forward to the impact her leadership will have as the company works to deliver long-term value and increase its presence on the global stage.
