India, 11 August 2026: InsuranceDekho, one of India’s fastest growing insurtech platforms, has announced two senior leadership appointments across business and marketing as part of a broader strategic restructuring and strengthening of its businesses.

Abhishek Bansal, who has been driving InsuranceDekho’s growth as Chief Revenue Officer, has been elevated to CEO of Insurance Business, to lead the core insurance distribution business. Joyeeta Ghosal joins as Head of Marketing.

Announcing the appointments, Ankit Agrawal, Co-founder and CEO, InsuranceDekho said,

“These appointments reflect where InsuranceDekho is today. Abhishek has lived and breathed this business from the inside, he has built the revenue engine, understood the unit economics, and known where the next wave of growth sits. Elevating him to lead the insurance distribution business was the most organic decision we have made. Joyeeta understands both sides of our business: the human trust our advisors build every day, and the technology that makes them faster and better. She has led marketing in financial services before, and she brings exactly the blend of brand craft and growth discipline this stage of our journey calls for.”

Abhishek Bansal – CEO, Insurance Business

Abhishek’s elevation comes after an impactful tenure as Chief Revenue Officer, where he was responsible for aligning strategy and execution across InsuranceDekho’s business segments. He has over 13 years of experience across consulting, entrepreneurship and operations leadership. He started his career as a consultant with Bain & Co., held senior roles at OYO, where he led revenue management across India and Southeast Asia, and he co-founded Rartogo, a B2B platform for sourcing and exports of auto component aftermarket. He holds a B.Tech from IIT Delhi and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.

Joyeeta Ghosal – Head of Marketing

Joyeeta brings deep marketing leadership across financial services and consumer-technology companies, including Pay10, GoKwik and Home Credit. She has built brands and demand engines in categories where trust, distribution and performance have had to work together.
