Actress and producer Marsai Martin has launched a major new initiative aimed at empowering the next generation of young women through financial literacy and mentorship.

Through her non-profit, Marsai’s Way Foundation, Martin has teamed up with Seeds of Fortune Inc. with the goal of reaching 10,000 young women over the next three years. The partnership will deliver financial education, personalised mentorship, and tools to help them start building wealth, according to a press release.

The collaboration began officially with the Seed Forum: Women of Color Creating Wealth Summit, an event designed to give young women the chance to engage with leading financial experts and learn more about managing and growing their money.

“At Seeds of Fortune, we believe education is the foundation of economic equity,” said Nitiya Walker, founder and executive director of Seeds of Fortune Inc. “Our partnership with Marsai’s Way Foundation allows us to scale this mission and deliver financial literacy, mentorship, and career access to thousands of young women who deserve to build wealth and opportunity for themselves and their communities.”

Seeds of Fortune Inc. is a platform committed to helping young women of colour navigate higher education, build their careers, and create long-term financial stability. With this new venture, the organisation is aiming to broaden its reach even further.

In addition to regular mentoring, the programme will include special events, such as the Marsai’s Way Foundation Annual BBQ: Sai Summer Cookout, planned for the end of August. Martin shared the news on Seeds of Fortune Inc.’s YouTube channel.

“This partnership is about more than just finances—it’s about creating freedom,” said Martin. “I want girls who look like me to know they can own their futures, build wealth, and become leaders in every room they walk into.” The initiative also builds on Martin’s earlier work, including her digital series “Money With Marsai Martin,” aimed at making financial literacy more accessible for Gen Z audiences.
