Username Investment Limited has announced Sarah Wahogo as its new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Reuben Kimani.

Sarah holds over 18 years of leadership and financial experience. She previously served as CEO of Safaricom Investment Cooperative and as a Finance Manager at Username Investment Limited. 

Sarah holds a Higher National Diploma in Management Information Systems (MIS) and a Bachelor of Business Management degree (Finance and Banking option) from Moi University. Sarah is currently pursuing a Masters in International Economics and Trade at the same institution, and she is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). Additionally, she is a licentiate member of the Institute of Management of Information Systems (IMIS).

Recognized as one of the top ten women CEOs in the Kenyan real estate sector by Valuable Brands Kenya in 2023, Sarah brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. 

Reuben Kimani, the former CEO, has transitioned to the position of Board Chair after almost a decade of leadership. Under his guidance, Username Investments has achieved significant milestones, and the Board is confident in his continued contribution to the company’s future.

In her new role, Sarah will oversee Username Investments’ strategic direction, financial performance, corporate governance, stakeholder management, and leadership development.
