IMI, the privately held global media group based in Abu Dhabi, has confirmed the appointment of Hadley Gamble to the newly established role of Chief International Anchor, a key step in its strategy to expand international reach and deepen its global editorial presence.

In her new role, Gamble will lead the development of high-profile interviews and original features across IMI’s prominent media brands, including The National, Sky News Arabia, CNN Business Arabic, and Al-Ain News. Based in London, she will also represent IMI on the international stage and guide the creation of a new slate of cross-platform content tailored for global audiences.

Bringing over 20 years of journalism experience to the group, Gamble is recognised for her deep expertise in political and economic reporting. Her career has seen her interview a wide array of world leaders and influential figures. Among them are Russian President Vladimir Putin, King Abdullah II of Jordan, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and renowned philanthropist Bill Gates.
