Global Invest Her unveils ‘Buy From Her’ initiative to support women entrepreneurs

Global Invest Her, a platform dedicated to promoting women’s access to capital and economic empowerment, has launched its inaugural ‘Buy From Her’ campaign, aimed at shining a spotlight on women-founded businesses. The initiative is designed to support female entrepreneurs by encouraging consumers and corporates alike to invest in women-led brands throughout the year.

The campaign is aligned with Global Invest Her’s larger mission to see one million women entrepreneurs funded by 2030. However, the organization believes funding isn’t just about traditional investment—a paying customer can be just as vital. To that end, the platform is inviting women entrepreneurs from around the globe to join its ‘Buy From Her Marketplace’, a global online space where they can showcase their products and services, allowing customers to buy directly from them.

Global Invest Her hopes the campaign will help women entrepreneurs overcome the two major hurdles they face: access to funding and visibility in the marketplace. According to the organisation, women entrepreneurs often struggle to attract both the financial backing and the consumer attention their businesses deserve. The ‘Buy From Her’ campaign aims to tackle these issues head-on by providing women founders with a platform to promote their businesses, while also driving meaningful economic impact.

Anne Ravanona, Founder and CEO of Global Invest Her, explains why this initiative is so timely: “The ‘Buy From Her’ campaign is especially timely as the holiday shopping season, including Black Friday and the end-of-year sales, approaches. A paying customer is the fastest path to leveling the playing field for women-founded brands, offering them the same opportunities for growth and funding as their male counterparts. Beyond the financial benefits for women entrepreneurs, the campaign aims to build a ripple effect of positive change.
