Kindbody, a leading fertility clinic network and family-building benefits provider, has announced a major leadership shift as it prepares for unprecedented growth. Gina Bartasi, the company’s Founder and Executive Chairman, will resume her role as CEO. The company, having recently projected revenues between $225-$250 million for 2024 and achieving profitability, is poised for its next phase of expansion.

This leadership transition follows meticulous succession planning, with Bartasi taking over from Annbeth Eschbach. Eschbach, who has been integral in the company’s recent successes, will continue to contribute as an Operating Partner. Alongside Bartasi’s return, the company has also promoted Gina Bruzzichesi to President and Haleigh Tebben to Chief Commercial Officer.

Bartasi, a trailblazer in the fertility industry, established Kindbody in late 2018. She opened the first flagship clinic in Manhattan in 2019, aiming to revolutionize family-building care by making it more accessible and affordable. Known for founding Progyny and FertilityAuthority, Bartasi’s vision for Kindbody was driven by the demand from large employers seeking direct fertility benefits from providers, bypassing intermediaries and saving substantial costs.

Kindbody stands as the largest women-founded, women-led fertility company, offering comprehensive family-building and women’s healthcare benefits to 121 employers, covering over 3.1 million lives. With services spanning from menarche to menopause, the company saves employers 25%-30% through direct contracting. Kindbody’s extensive network includes 35 clinics across the U.S., servicing all 50 states and 108 countries.

Bartasi expressed her pride in the team’s achievements and enthusiasm for the future, stating, “I’m incredibly proud of our world-class team and the hard work and enthusiasm they’ve shown to build something industry-leading and game-changing. There’s more work to do and we’re eager to continue to lead the way.”

Gina Bruzzichesi, now President, will manage daily operations, focusing on operational excellence, people management, and technology. Bruzzichesi, who joined Kindbody earlier this year, brings significant experience from her roles at Aspen Dental Management, CLEAR, WeWork, and Avis.

Haleigh Tebben, promoted to Chief Commercial Officer, will oversee employer revenue and marketing. With 25 years of experience in insurance, consulting, and healthcare, Tebben’s expertise will be crucial as Kindbody continues to expand its reach and impact.

From its inception, Kindbody has emphasized technological innovation, starting with the acquisition of foundational code for its KindEMR system. This proprietary technology supports the full spectrum of reproductive health and family-building care, including fertility preservation, genetic testing, IVF, and surrogacy services. The company’s investment in AI aims to enhance fertility treatment through personalized decision-making tools and improved prognostic capabilities.

Kindbody’s dedication to integrating advanced technology with patient care has positioned it uniquely in the market. The company’s efforts in AI development promise to further improve efficiency and outcomes in fertility treatment, solidifying its role as a leader in the industry.
