Bitget, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges and Web3 companies, has launched a new initiative aimed at supporting women entrepreneurs in the blockchain space. The “Pitch n Slay” program, a key part of Bitget’s broader Blockchain4Her initiative, offers a platform for female-led startups to gain exposure, mentorship, and funding.

As part of its ongoing commitment to champion women in Web3, Bitget is extending targeted support to women-led blockchain ventures. The pgram is designed to help these startups secure funding of up to $100,000, provided by Foresight Ventures. Additionally, participants will benefit from expert guidance from leading industry professionals to help refine their projects and accelerate their growth.

The “Pitch n Slay” program will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 15th, where a select group of female entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch their blockchain startups. After a rigorous selection process, finalists will be mentored by an esteemed group of professionals, including Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, Taya A, CEO of World of Women, Min Xue, Partner at Foresight Ventures, Tess Hau, Founder of Tess Ventures, and other notable Web3 experts.

During this mentorship phase, the chosen entrepreneurs will receive expert advice on market strategy, scaling, and technological development. This support will be crucial in helping them refine their projects before the final pitch. At the event in Bangkok, the startups will present their ideas to a panel of investors and judges, competing for a chance to win grants and secure further funding.

Three women-led startups will be awarded grants following the pitch event. The top prize winner will receive $5,000, with the second-place winner getting $3,000, and the third-place winner taking home $2,000. All three finalists will also be eligible for additional pitching opportunities to Foresight Ventures, with the potential for pre-seed funding of up to $100,000 if the deal progresses.

Bitget’s CEO, Gracy Chen, emphasized the company’s ongoing commitment to fostering gender inclusion and supporting women in the Web3 space. “Bitget is a proudly gender-inclusive organization, with over 45% of our management roles held by women,” she said. “Through Blockchain4Her, it’s our honor to support women founders with opportunities for exposure, mentorship, and funding. We’ll continue to expand this platform, creating pathways for growth and amplifying women-led startups in Web3.”

The launch of “Pitch n Slay” is a further step in Bitget’s efforts to provide greater accessibility to funding and business development resources for women entrepreneurs, helping to bridge the gender gap in the tech and blockchain sectors. The initiative also aligns with the company’s goal of creating a more inclusive environment for women in the digital economy.

With a focus on mentoring and funding, the “Pitch n Slay” program promises to empower women entrepreneurs to take their blockchain ventures to the next level, paving the way for future innovation and success in the Web3 space.
