African Risk Capacity Limited welcomes Susan Kasinga and Helen Amarquaye to Board of Directors

African Risk Capacity (ARC) Limited announced the appointment of Susan Kasinga and Helen Amarquaye as non-executive directors to its Board. Both individuals bring a wealth of specialized expertise in finance and insurance to their new roles.

Susan Kasinga boasts over 30 years of experience in the financial industry and holds certifications as a certified public accountant (CPA), certified public secretary (CS), and certified executive coach. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated her proficiency in capital raising for both private and publicly listed companies, along with a proven track record of driving growth, transformation, and return on investment for various stakeholders.

Susan has been a director on the boards of nine blue-chip companies over the past seven years. She currently chairs the audit and risk committee of Old Mutual General Insurance Kenya and the audit committee of QualiBasic Seed Company Limited. She is also a former chair of CIC Asset Management.

On the other hand, Helen Amarquaye brings over 25 years of cross-industry experience in risk management and compliance, having worked in the insurance, telecommunications, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors. As a qualified chartered insurer through the UK’s Chartered Insurance Institute, she has held various senior management roles across organizations in both the UK and Ghana.

Notably, Helen currently serves as the Board Chair for Old Mutual Insurance Ghana and previously held the position of controls, compliance, and ethics director at Guinness Ghana Breweries Plc.
