Hyeglo Beauty, an Indian beauty and personal care start-up founded by Kanupriya Ahluwalia, has raised ₹7 crore in a seed funding round led by investment firm Sauce.
The funding round also saw participation from Giga Capital, Consumer Collective, The Patient Capital and Arjun Purkayastha, an executive at consumer goods company Reckitt.
Founded in April 2026, the Delhi-based company focuses on what it describes as skinified beauty, combining skincare ingredients and formulations with colour cosmetics.
Ahluwalia brings around nine years of experience in the beauty and consumer industry. Her previous professional experience includes working with Nykaa and Kay Beauty in India, as well as Noon and Namshi in the Middle East.
The company plans to use the fresh capital for research and development, new product launches, brand building and team expansion. It also intends to broaden its portfolio across colour cosmetics and skincare.
Hyeglo’s approach centres on incorporating skincare-focused ingredients into make-up products, targeting consumers looking for products that combine cosmetic performance with skincare benefits.
The funding represents an early investment milestone for the start-up, which was established less than a year before the announcement.
The investment also reflects continued interest in India’s beauty and personal care market, where emerging brands are developing specialised product categories and building direct relationships with consumers.
With the new capital, Hyeglo plans to strengthen its product development capabilities and expand its presence in the competitive beauty market.
