Biograph, a preventive health and diagnostics clinic, has integrated its new Women’s Health Programme across its Core and Black tier memberships, creating a more comprehensive approach to women’s health across different stages of life.
The programme brings together female-specific health history, personalised hormone testing, comprehensive risk assessment, menopause care, and tailored nutrition and exercise guidance. Together, these elements are designed to help women better understand how reproductive history, hormonal changes, lifestyle and other factors can influence long-term health.
A more connected approach to women’s health
Women’s health often involves different stages, symptoms and areas of care that can be addressed separately. Biograph’s programme is designed to bring these factors together as part of a more integrated preventive health strategy.
“Women’s health is deeply interconnected, but the way we deliver care often isn’t,” said Dr Yihan Chen, physician at Biograph. “A woman’s menstrual and reproductive history, her hormonal shifts through the menopause transition, her cardiovascular, metabolic, and bone health – these aren’t separate stories. They intersect in complex ways to shape her long-term health. Our Women’s Health Program brings these pieces together, combining advanced diagnostics with personalized clinical guidance to help women see the full picture and take proactive steps to improve both how they feel today and where their health is headed.”
The programme combines advanced diagnostics with personalised clinical guidance, helping women develop a clearer picture of their current health while identifying areas that may require proactive attention.
Understanding health across life stages
Pregnancy, reproductive health and menopause can all provide important insights into a woman’s longer-term health. Yet these factors may be considered separately across different healthcare providers and specialties.
Biograph’s Women’s Health Programme is designed to bring these signals together through a comprehensive assessment of current health and future risk.
The programme includes a female-specific health history assessment, covering reproductive history, menstrual and menopausal status, pregnancy history, family history and other female-specific factors that can influence long-term health.
Hormone testing is personalised according to each woman’s symptoms, reproductive stage and medical history. Results are interpreted alongside advanced imaging and laboratory testing to develop an integrated assessment of cardiovascular, metabolic, bone, cognitive and cancer risk.
Members also receive individualised nutrition, exercise and hormone health guidance tailored to their goals, life stage and long-term risk profile.
A focus on menopause care
Menopause is a central component of the programme, with care extending beyond the commonly recognised symptoms.
Hormonal changes during menopause can be accompanied by mood and cognitive changes, disrupted sleep, reduced libido, bone loss, increased abdominal fat and metabolic changes.
Following a comprehensive evaluation, clinically eligible members may add menopausal hormone therapy (MHT) through Biograph’s prescription management service.
Biograph physicians develop individual treatment plans and provide ongoing monitoring, helping ensure therapy remains safe, effective and responsive to each member’s needs over time.
Combining diagnostics with ongoing care
Biograph’s approach combines advanced diagnostics with physician-led interpretation and longitudinal care.
According to the company, 71% of female Biograph Black tier members have reversed insulin resistance and mitigated their overall risk of lifetime cardiovascular events. Among returning female members, 96% report measurable progress towards their health goals.
The company says its preventive health model is designed to identify health risks earlier and provide members with ongoing guidance rather than relying solely on episodic healthcare.
Biograph currently operates clinics in New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area, bringing advanced diagnostics and physician-led care together in a single visit lasting approximately five to six hours.
The Women’s Health Programme adds another layer to this model, placing women’s reproductive health, hormonal changes, lifestyle and long-term health risks within one coordinated preventive care framework.
By connecting the different stages of women’s health, Biograph is taking a more personalised approach to prevention, helping women understand not only how they feel today, but how their health may evolve over time.
