Global shipping and logistics group CMA CGM has appointed Natasha Griffin as Chief Executive Officer of CMA CGM North America, placing her at the helm of one of the company’s most strategically important regional operations.
Based in Norfolk, Virginia, Griffin will oversee the group’s strategic development, ocean freight, intermodal logistics and supply chain operations across the United States and Canada. Her remit covers an extensive operation employing more than 10,000 people, with 38 maritime services across 25 ports and more than 5 million TEUs handled annually.
Griffin brings three decades of experience in the shipping industry to the role. Before her appointment, she served as Managing Director of CMA CGM United Kingdom, following senior leadership positions with major international carriers including Mediterranean Shipping Co. (MSC) and ZIM.
She succeeds Adeline Franger Chouraqui as CEO of CMA CGM North America. In her new position, Griffin will focus on strengthening customer partnerships, accelerating business development and supporting the group’s continued investment in North America’s maritime and logistics infrastructure.
As the world’s third-largest shipping line, CMA CGM’s North American operation represents a substantial part of its global network. Griffin’s leadership will place her at the centre of the region’s evolving maritime and logistics landscape, overseeing operations that connect businesses and supply chains across the United States and Canada.
