The International Factoring Association (IFA) has established a new professional network named Women in Factoring to support female professionals across the commercial finance sector.

Based in San Luis Obispo, California, the trade body introduced the platform to provide networking opportunities, structured mentorship, educational materials, and peer collaboration. Membership is open to all women working within or connected to the factoring industry, accommodating individuals across every career stage and experience level.

The concept originated from a group of female executive leaders who approached the IFA leadership with a proposal to create a dedicated industry body. These executives now form the Women in Factoring Founding Committee, which will steer the group’s ongoing strategy, educational content, and networking events.

The Founding Committee includes Kim Haller, Vice President of Growth and Strategy at Capital Depot; Kait Martin, President of Dune Funding Group, LLC; Randi Villaverde, Financial Services Consultant; and Renee Williams, President and COO at Freight Revenue Consultants LLC. Together, the committee will work to build an inclusive community while encouraging greater female participation and executive career progression across the sector.

“When Kim, Kait, Randi, and Renee shared their vision for Women in Factoring with me, I had the opportunity to learn more about what they hoped to accomplish and the impact they believed it could have on our industry,” said Tania Daniel, Executive Director of the International Factoring Association. “Their passion and goals quickly earned my support, and I’m grateful that the same leaders who brought this idea forward have stepped up to serve as our founding committee. I look forward to seeing Women in Factoring create meaningful connections, encourage professional growth, and strengthen our industry for years to come.”

The launch forms part of the IFA’s broader efforts to expand professional development options and build collaborative networks across the wider commercial finance community.
