Harcourts International Ltd (HIL) has confirmed the promotion of two senior executives to global leadership positions. Teagan Seccombe is the new Head of Events and Partnerships for HIL. Meanwhile, Karmen Costigan has been appointed as the Head of Property Management for the entire global network. Both leaders previously held senior roles within the Australian division of the real estate group. The move is part of a wider strategy to recognise and promote established talent from within the organisation.
Teagan Seccombe formerly served as the Head of Events for Australia. In her expanded role, she will manage event strategies and business partner relationships across both Australia and New Zealand. She brings more than ten years of experience in international markets to the position. Her previous work involved managing multi-million-pound budgets and delivering large-scale conferences. “I am passionate about designing experiences that matter—those that elevate leadership, reinforce culture, and move organisations forward. My approach has always been collaborative and grounded in building strong relationships with our stakeholders and partners, and I am thrilled to bring this focus to our broader trans-Tasman network,” Seccombe said.
Karmen Costigan moves into her global role with over 20 years of experience in the property industry. She was previously the Head of Property Management for Australia. Her new remit includes leading property management strategy, staff development and training programmes for the global network. “The property management landscape is evolving rapidly, and the businesses that succeed are those willing to innovate, invest in their people, and implement best practices,” Costigan noted. “I am excited to take what we have built in Australia to the global stage and work alongside our international teams to continue raising the bar.”
Mike Green, Managing Director of Harcourts International Ltd, spoke highly of the two executives. “Teagan has done an exceptional job across our events for HIL and Australia, and will now bring her talent and focus on creating the finest experience to all of our events across New Zealand and Australia, ensuring our business partners continue to experience that same level of excellence. Likewise, Karmen is an extraordinary property management leader who has done an outstanding job developing our Australian business, and she will now take that same passion to our entire Group,” Green stated. He added that promoting from within ensures that the values and knowledge of the brand remain central to the company as it expands worldwide.
