KFH–Bahrain names Misam Al Hashemi to lead organisational design and workforce planning

In her new role, she will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of the Bank’s organisational structure and workforce planning framework, including preparing for future skills requirements.

Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain) has announced the appointment of Misam Al Hashemi as Head of Organisational Design and Workforce Planning, alongside the appointment of Fatema Abu Alfath as Head of Branches and Premium Services. The Bank said the moves form part of its established approach to recruiting and supporting experienced national professionals, while reinforcing its leadership structure in line with the next phase of its strategy and long-term growth plans.

According to KFH-Bahrain, the appointments are part of its continuing work to develop its organisational framework and improve operational efficiency. By bringing in senior banking professionals with specialist expertise and a track record of delivering results, the Bank aims to support its strategic goals, improve customer experience and ensure its workforce is prepared to respond to changes in the banking sector.

Misam Al Hashemi joins KFH-Bahrain with more than 19 years of experience in human resources and strategic workforce planning. In her new role, she will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of the Bank’s organisational structure and workforce planning framework, including preparing for future skills requirements. Her remit includes ensuring that the organisational set-up remains aligned with KFH-Bahrain’s overall strategy.

Fatema Abu Alfath, who has more than 20 years of experience in the banking sector, takes on the position of Head of Branches and Premium Services. She will oversee the daily operations of KFH-Bahrain’s branch network, service and distribution channels, as well as Premium banking services. The Bank said her appointment is intended to support the delivery of consistent service standards across its physical and customer-facing platforms.

The appointments of Misam Al Hashemi and Fatema Abu Alfath also reflect KFH-Bahrain’s stated commitment to advancing Bahraini women into senior decision-making roles. The Bank said this approach is based on its view of the contribution women make to developing the workplace and improving institutional performance. It added that the strategy aligns with KFH-Bahrain’s aim to provide equal opportunities and invest in qualified national talent, supporting the development of a diverse leadership base capable of delivering growth and sustainability.
