Luxury group LVMH has announced a series of senior leadership changes designed to strengthen its organisational structure and support its long-term growth strategy. All appointments take effect immediately.
Véronique Courtois has been appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Parfums Christian Dior, alongside the role of Chief Executive of LVMH’s Beauty division. She also joins the Group’s Executive Committee. In her expanded remit, Courtois will oversee all Maisons within the Beauty division while continuing to lead Parfums Christian Dior, a move the group said would ensure continuity in both management and strategy.
LVMH said Courtois brings extensive experience across its beauty businesses and credited her with significantly increasing the performance and appeal of Parfums Christian Dior during her tenure. Her leadership and sector expertise are expected to play a key role across the wider Beauty division.
Antoine Arnault, currently Director of Image & Environment, has also been appointed to the Executive Committee. In this role, he will continue to oversee image, communication and sustainable development initiatives, responsibilities he has held since 2020.
The group also confirmed that Stéphane Rinderknech has decided to leave LVMH to pursue personal projects. Rinderknech previously led the expansion of LVMH Hospitality and later headed the Beauty division.
Commenting on the changes, Stéphane Bianchi, Managing Director of the LVMH Group, said: “Since joining the Group, Stéphane Rinderknech has greatly contributed to the growth of our hospitality division before bringing his recognized expertise to the beauty business. I am thankful for his contribution and results; and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
I am very pleased to welcome Véronique Courtois and Antoine Arnault to the Group Executive Committee. Throughout their rich careers at LVMH, Véronique and Antoine have consistently demonstrated our Group’s values and propelled its ambitious development through their impactful achievements. I am delighted to welcome their unique expertise and knowledge to the Executive Committee, where they will be instrumental in shaping our strategic direction.”
Courtois joined LVMH in 2000 and has held a range of senior marketing and commercial roles. She became Chief Marketing Officer at Guerlain in 2007, moved to Christian Dior Couture in 2010, and was appointed Brand General Director of Parfums Christian Dior in 2012. She was named President and CEO of Guerlain in 2019 and has led Parfums Christian Dior as President and CEO since March 2023.
