In an attempt to establish Kenya as an AI superpower, a new initiative by Sama has developed an AI training program. Sama, a leader in responsible enterprise AI solutions, has introduced a first-of-its-kind scalable training solution designed to cut down AI project ramp times, improve data annotation accuracy, and build a diverse, skilled workforce, reinforcing Kenya’s potential in the AI revolution.
Duncan Curtis, Senior Vice President of AI Products and Technology at Sama, explains, “Basic data annotation training encourages rote memorization, but at Sama, we focus on project-specific training to improve quality and reduce rework. Our new platform is designed to be more scalable and adaptable, allowing annotators to learn at their own pace and handle complex tasks such as automotive and Generative AI data annotation.”
