Chinese President Xi Jinping extends congratulations to Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, Mexican President

Chinese President Xi Jinping extends his congratulations to Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, Mexico’s newly elected President. 

In his congratulatory message Jinping noted that Mexico is a large Latin American country and that China and Mexico are comprehensive strategic partners. 

According to Xi, the connection between China and Mexico has continued to grow steadily and is becoming more strategic, complementary, and beneficial to both countries. The partnership is currently going through a critical phase of consolidating its accomplishments and moving forward.

In order to take bilateral relations to a new level and benefit the two peoples more, Xi also stated that he places a high value on the growth of China-Mexico relations and that he is prepared to increase strategic contact with the president-elect.
