Together Women’s Health (TWH) has expanded its presence in Mississippi through a new partnership with Women’s Health of Mississippi, the state’s largest independent OBGYN group.

The agreement brings five practices operating across eight locations into the TWH network, adding 24 physicians and nine advanced practice providers. This move significantly increases access to women’s healthcare services throughout the state.

With the expansion, TWH now provides care across North, Central, South, and Coastal Mississippi, creating one of the state’s most extensive women’s health networks. The organisation, a management service group focused on women’s healthcare, partners with leading physicians across the US. Its affiliate network currently includes 26 practices with more than 230 providers at 66 locations across Michigan, Illinois, Alabama, Colorado, Mississippi, Missouri, Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky.

The Mississippi practices joining TWH include Women’s Pavilion (serving Hattiesburg, Ellisville, and the Pine Belt region), Oxford Clinic for Women (covering Oxford and North Mississippi), East Lakeland OBGYN Associates and Southern Women’s Health (both located in Flowood and the Greater Jackson area), and Gulf Coast OBGYN (serving Pascagoula and the Mississippi Gulf Coast). Collectively, these practices are recognised providers in the state, offering services that span preventive gynaecologic care, prenatal care, robotic surgery, breast health screening, mammography, and diagnostics.

Commenting on the development, Anthony Ahee, CEO of Together Women’s Health, said: “Our expansion into Mississippi marks an important milestone for Together Women’s Health. By welcoming five leading practices, we are strengthening our presence across the state and region while advancing our commitment to expand access to high-quality women’s health services. Together, we are not only growing access to care but also building a sustainable model that supports physicians and elevates women’s health for generations to come.”

Leaders of the affiliated practices also highlighted the benefits of the partnership. They stressed that joining TWH will allow them to focus more on patient care while streamlining business operations and expanding healthcare access for women across the state.

Dr. Joe Washburne, partner physician at Women’s Pavilion and founder of Women’s Health Mississippi, said: “We are excited to join the team of Together Women’s Health. Even though we were the largest single specialty group in Mississippi, geographically spread all over the state, we felt that Together Women’s Health could take us to the next level in the delivery of care to our patients, as well as streamline the business side of our practices. We look forward, with great anticipation, to joining other committed individuals who want to help us give the absolute best care and service to our patients. Personally, I think our new partnership with Together Women’s Health gets us to that goal.”

Dr. Donna Breeland, partner physician at East Lakeland OBGYN Associates, added: “We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Together Women’s Health. This alliance will allow us to focus on caring for the needs of our patients without having to devote time and energy to the business side of healthcare. TWH has a proven track record in coming alongside existing OBGYN practices and freeing physicians to return to singular engagement in patient care.”
