The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort has confirmed the appointment of two senior leaders as it continues to position itself as Oman’s premier luxury destination. Fatma Kurt has been named Director of Marketing, while Audra Arul takes on the role of Director of Sales & Distribution.

The resort said the appointments mark a significant step in its ambition to redefine high-end hospitality in the region.

Kurt brings more than a decade of marketing experience across the UAE, Qatar, and Türkiye. Her achievements have earned her a place on the Hotelier Middle East Power List for four consecutive years and recognition as a Top Performer by Marriott International EMEA in 2023.

Before joining The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort, she worked at the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel, where she led major brand visibility campaigns that enhanced the property’s profile and guest engagement. She also contributed to one of the hotel’s restaurants achieving a Michelin Star and founded the Women’s Circle in Qatar, an empowerment initiative supporting women in the community.

At her new post, Kurt will oversee integrated marketing and brand communications, with a brief to establish the resort as a symbol of modern glamour and refined experiences in Oman.

Meanwhile, Arul brings over 20 years of commercial expertise in luxury hospitality across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. A graduate of the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland, her career includes senior roles at Hyatt, Marriott, Starwood, and Banyan Tree, with postings in Vietnam, Morocco, and the Maldives.

Her track record includes developing strategic sales initiatives and building strong partnerships that have consistently delivered growth. In Muscat, she will be responsible for shaping sales and distribution strategies, aligning with the St. Regis brand ethos of “Live Exquisite.”

Located on the Al Mouj Muscat coastline, the resort offers 250 rooms and suites, alongside nine dining concepts. These include names such as Em Sherif, Novikov Café, COYA, Roberto’s, Hakkasan, Zorba, Karibu, The Stage, and The Lounge, which together form a culinary portfolio designed to complement the property’s luxury offering.

In a statement, the resort said the leadership appointments highlight its commitment to investing in top talent and delivering immersive luxury experiences for international travellers.
