Serve Robotics welcomes Lily Sarafan to its board of directors

Serve Robotics Inc., a prominent company specialising in AI-driven automation, has announced the appointment of Lily Sarafan to its Board of Directors. Sarafan brings nearly two decades of experience in entrepreneurship, executive leadership, and governance to the role.

A respected leader, Sarafan is the co-founder and former CEO of TheKey, one of the largest in-home care provider networks in the U.S. She currently serves as the executive chair at TheKey. Sarafan also holds board positions at several well-known companies, including Instacart, Thumbtack, and Kyo, and is a trustee at Stanford University. Over the course of her career, she has earned significant recognition, including being named an EY Entrepreneur of the Year, a member of Fortune’s 40 Under 40, Women Health Care Executives’ Woman of the Year, and a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute. Sarafan holds both an M.S. in Management Science and Engineering and a B.S. in Science, Technology, and Society from Stanford University.

Serve Robotics, which was spun off from Uber in 2021, is a pioneer in developing eco-friendly, AI-powered sidewalk delivery robots. The company’s innovative robots are designed to make deliveries more sustainable and cost-effective. Serve has already completed tens of thousands of deliveries for partners like Uber Eats and 7-Eleven. Additionally, the company has secured multi-year contracts, including a deal to deploy up to 2,000 delivery robots on Uber Eats across various U.S. cities.
