The Saudi Fashion Commission has announced a new partnership with White Milano following the conclusion of Riyadh Fashion Week. The agreement, formalised through a memorandum of understanding, marks a significant step towards expanding Saudi Arabia’s presence in the global fashion landscape.

According to a statement from the Commission, the partnership represents “a strategic partnership to promote the global growth and expansion of brands and open new horizons for the international fashion industry.” The collaboration aims to support the development of national talent and enhance opportunities for Saudi creatives within the global fashion ecosystem.

The agreement builds on the momentum of Riyadh Fashion Week, which ran from 16 to 21 October, and is part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to position itself as a hub for innovation and creativity in the fashion sector. Through this initiative, the Fashion Commission seeks to connect Saudi designers with leading international platforms, encouraging collaboration, cultural exchange, and professional growth.

“This partnership with White Milano reflects our ongoing commitment to building platforms that enhance local talent, expand international collaborations, and enrich the creative economy. By bringing the first international White Milano showroom to Riyadh, the commission has affirmed its role as a catalyst for innovation, exchange, and opportunity. This ensures that Saudi fashion continues to thrive on the world stage,” said Burak Cakmak, CEO of the Saudi Fashion Commission.

The new collaboration has already seen tangible results with the launch of White Milano’s first international showroom in the Kingdom. The space, located inside The Globe at the Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah Tower, hosted over 50 Saudi and international designers during Riyadh Fashion Week. Designed by White Milano’s president and creative director, Massimiliano Bizzi, the showroom offered a journey through various aesthetics and identities, from ready-to-wear and streetwear to accessories and artisanal craftsmanship.

“With our strong international experience in the fashion sector and our well-established network, we have brought our expertise to Saudi Arabia. This began with organising the official showroom during Riyadh Fashion Week, held from October 16 to 21. This project aimed to promote creative talent through a structured strategy for global promotion and positioning,” said Brenda Bellei, CEO of M.Seventy and The Circle Platform.sa, the respective organisers of the White Milano and Riyadh trade shows.

The partnership is set to provide Saudi designers with access to White Milano’s established international platforms, offering them greater visibility and commercial opportunities abroad. Future plans include mentorship schemes, workshops, and professional training programmes to support designers in areas such as branding, design, and sustainability.

By connecting Saudi designers to global networks and industry leaders, the partnership will play an essential role in enhancing the Kingdom’s creative economy. It is expected to help local brands establish themselves in new markets while promoting Saudi Arabia as an emerging centre for international fashion collaboration.

Through this initiative, the Saudi Fashion Commission continues its mission to strengthen creative industries and elevate Saudi talent onto the global stage, reinforcing the Kingdom’s growing influence in fashion and design.
