Qatar Airways will introduce a new route from December 11, connecting Doha International Airport (DOH) to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), enhancing its footprint in Canada. This addition marks the airline’s second destination in the country, complementing its existing daily service to Montréal-Trudeau International Airport.

The new service will operate three times a week, utilizing Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Each of these planes is configured to accommodate 354 passengers, including 42 seats in the business class section.

Toronto will become Qatar Airways’ 14th destination in the Americas, reflecting the airline’s ongoing commitment to enhancing connectivity for its Canadian customers. Passengers flying out of Toronto will benefit from seamless one-stop connections to numerous global destinations via the airline’s Doha hub.

Qatar Airways CEO Mohammed Al-Meer said,  “The Toronto route is a strong and enduring commitment towards providing Qatar Airways’ Canadian customers with the enhanced connectivity they deserve, as well as access to our world-leading service and Qsuite in-flight product.”

With this latest expansion, Qatar Airways will strengthen its ties with the Canadian market, offering travellers more options for international travel.
