Pia Wurtzbach, crowned Miss Universe in 2015, has reached another significant milestone in her illustrious career. She has been appointed as an official ambassador for the prestigious Italian jewellery brand, Bulgari. This new role places her in the esteemed company of Hollywood stars like Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, and Priyanka Chopra.

Bulgari made the announcement on Instagram, stating, “We are proud to welcome model, actress, and philanthropist Pia Wurtzbach to the Bvlgari family.” According to Vogue Philippines, the 34-year-old will be known as a “friend of the house.”

Reflecting on her new role, Pia shared her excitement with the media, saying, “They’ve been creating pure gemstone magic for over 140 years, and to be part of what’s next, the years to come, is truly an honour.”

In addition to her new role with Bulgari, Pia has been making waves in the fashion world. At the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, she was recognised as one of the top celebrities in terms of media impact value (MIV). Her presence at the event generated an impressive $8.1 million (approximately P475 billion) in MIV, a metric that quantifies the monetary value of every post, interaction, or article to gauge its impact on brand performance across different platforms and regions.

May saw Pia being honoured with the “Global Fashion Influencer of the Year” award at Dubai’s 2024 EMIGALA Fashion and Beauty Awards. In March, she was at the launch of Bulgari Studios in Seoul, South Korea, where she mingled with international icons like BLACKPINK’s Lisa and SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu.

Pia has also been a standout figure at the start of this year’s Milan Women’s Fashion Week, joining other prominent Filipino celebrities such as Heart Evangelista, Sofia Andres, Camille Co-Koro, and Tim Yap.

Adding to her list of achievements, Pia announced last year that she is working on a new book following the success of her novel, “Queen of the Universe.”
