Grace Park joins Prudential plc as Chief Data, Analytics & AI Officer

Prudential plc has named Grace Park as its new Chief Data, Analytics & AI Officer, effective June 7, 2024. Park, who will be based in Singapore, will report directly to Chief Information Officer, Ashley Veasey.

In her new role, Park will spearhead the enhancement of Prudential’s data and artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives. Her primary focus will be to drive growth and improve efficiency across the company’s various business functions through advanced data utilization and AI integration. Additionally, Park will be tasked with developing a comprehensive data strategy and ensuring top-tier data governance and AI practices.

Ashley Veasey, Chief Information Officer of Prudential plc, expressed his enthusiasm for the new appointment: “We are delighted to welcome Grace to the Technology Leadership Team. Grace will partner with teams across our markets and functions to strengthen our capabilities in data and analytics. This is critical to helping us make better decisions, provide a better customer experience, and build innovative AI-powered tools and products; a huge area of opportunity for Prudential.”

With over two decades of global experience in the financial services, technology, and consulting sectors, Park is well-equipped for her new responsibilities. She previously held the position of Chief Analytics Officer at Manulife Asia and has held senior roles at notable organizations such as Standard Chartered Bank, LG Electronics, the Boston Consulting Group, and Kearney.

Prudential plc’s strategic move to appoint Park underlines the company’s commitment to leveraging data and AI to stay ahead in the competitive financial services industry.
