Fiji Airways appoints two women to executive roles

Fiji Airways, the national carrier of Fiji, has announced the appointment of two women to key executive roles, marking a significant step in its leadership team. Anna Morris has been named Chief People Officer, while Kamal Haer takes on the position of Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.

Anna Morris, a Fiji-born professional of Rotuman heritage, brings extensive expertise in human resources, workforce planning, and organisational development. Having joined Fiji Airways in 2015, she has played a pivotal role in enhancing employee engagement and fostering a positive workplace culture. Before her tenure at the airline, Morris spent over a decade at FIJI Water, where she focused on operations management and performance improvement. She holds degrees in business and arts from Auckland University of Technology and Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in France. Additionally, Morris serves on the board of directors for Food Processors Fiji Limited.

Kamal Haber steps into her new role after serving as Fiji Airways’ Executive Manager for Strategy, Alliances, and Loyalty. She brings a wealth of international experience across industries such as hospitality, financial services, telecommunications, and aviation. Haer is known for her strategic leadership and ability to build engaged teams that drive commercial success. Her career spans multiple countries, including Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, Bali, and Japan. Beyond her corporate achievements, she has been an advocate for empowering women through initiatives like ANZ Pacific’s “Banking on Women,” where she served as Chairperson.

These appointments reflect Fiji Airways’ commitment to strengthening its leadership team with experienced local professionals.
