The MENA Futures Lab was organised by The Atlantic Council, in partnership with Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), marking the third consecutive year of collaboration. The platform brought together senior entrepreneurs, investors and policymakers from across the region to examine how artificial intelligence, FinTech and emerging technologies can be embedded into business strategies to support inclusive growth and wider economic development.

During the session, H.E. Raja highlighted the importance of women’s participation in finance and entrepreneurship as a key contributor to economic progress. She pointed to estimates showing that increased female participation in the workforce could add USD 2.7 trillion to the region’s economy by the end of 2025, underlining the economic impact of inclusive growth.

She also referenced the UAE’s position as a regional leader in advancing gender equality, citing progressive national policies and the rising number of women in executive roles as evidence of the country’s ongoing commitment to empowering women across sectors.

The discussion also explored the growing influence of artificial intelligence in financial services. H.E. Raja spoke about how predictive analytics and emerging technologies are expected to support more intelligent and resilient financial systems. She outlined a vision for the MENA region’s financial future that is technology-driven, inclusive and collaborative, with expanding opportunities for women to play a central role in economic development.

In recognition of her contributions, H.E. Raja was presented with the ‘Women in Finance Award’ during the event. The award acknowledges her leadership, impact within the finance sector and commitment to innovation across the region.
