Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba) has launched its Ramadan Safety Campaign for 2026, with the initiative officially opened by Chief Executive Officer Ali Al Baqali on 24 February at the Oasis Hall. The launch event was attended by executives, managers and employees from across the plant.

This year’s campaign carries the theme ‘Five Star Safety, One Spirit of Ramadan’ and will run throughout the Holy Month. Alba said the programme is centred on overall wellbeing, with a focus on encouraging positive daily habits, mindful behaviour and a balanced approach to work and life during Ramadan.

A range of activities has been planned, including in-person talks and online webinars led by both internal and external speakers. The sessions will cover safety, health, nutrition and food waste. The campaign also includes management visits to operational areas to maintain engagement across different shifts and reinforce safe and responsible practices at work and beyond.

The 2026 campaign is being led entirely by Alba’s women, highlighting their role in supporting the company’s safety culture.
